Pichy Jumpholwong

My name is Pichy Jumpholwong and I am an Art and Design: Games and Playable Media major and Earth Sciences minor. I have always been interested in all comics, specifically Marvel, DC, and even some graphic novels. It was not until this opportunity to be part of this class that I challenged myself to plan and execute a comic. I am currently developing a comic called Concealed where the mayor of a city intends to continuously conceal the truth about pollution and only focuses his attention on the rich, while others are subject to worse environmental conditions and effects. This comic includes a group of five people who want to expose the corrupt mayor who seems to only care for publicity and keeps no promises to make the city great. During the nighttime, they let out their superhero persona to fight the mayor’s wrongdoings and try to find out the truth. For Concealed, I am working with pen and ink in this single issue. In the future, there may be more issues and possible changes to the first issue.
