Stella Brown

I am a visual art major, I work in drawing and painting, printing, textile, and photography.I have created a zine of images that have been visually flattened from their original form. Pressed from the moments that they once were into their 2D form on the page to represent the flattened version of the world that I exist in while experiencing flare-ups of chronic illness. The photos in this series were selected to emphasize the passing of time and how it bends and warps from day to day depending on how I feel when I wake up. Some moments seem to be so much longer than others, it is hard to believe that each moment can only happen once.
